How did your rifle turn out? I just received my stock and am still waiting on the trigger guard and screws. I'm pretty happy with the quality of the stock, it looks and feels great. I got the pepper laminated finish.

Thanks for your information on this. Especially for the brownells link. I am also in the process of replacing my savage stevens in 270win synthetic stock for one of boyds featherweight thumbhole stocks.

Well, I ended up trading it in on a S&W M&P 45 Compact. I'm liking this one a lot more than the Taurus.

We have the same problem!
Backgrounder: I was shooting a S&W Sigma until playing in IPSC matches I realized that the Sigma is no good, so I shopped for a new/different system and, upon a fellow gunner's suggestion, I ended up with a 24/7 pro in 9mm. As you stated, it is reliable but shoots ridiculously low from POA. With regards to this, I've read that the solution is to break-in the gun until 500 rounds and it will be accurate. Don't ask me about the scientific explanation. Mine is still in the 230 rounds. Pray that the 24/7 pro fixes itself on the 500th or so.
